Educational Sessions

Expecting Twins or Triplets? Attend one of our information sessions to hear first hand the experiences of other families who have been through it all, ask questions and talk about a range of issues you may encounter when your babies arrive. Sessions are held every six weeks. Booking is essential.

We also hold Feeding, Toilet Training and Sleep & Settling Sessions throughout the year. Check our calendar or newsletter for more information.

Meals Program

NIMBA has a meals program for members with newborns. Once you have advised us of the birth of your babies, a meal will get delivered to your door by another NIMBA family.

Once you are feeling on your feet, there is an opportunity to pay-it-forward to another family following in your footsteps! A milestone in itself.

Facebook Group

Our Facebook group is a private group for paid members of NIMBA, with posts visible only to NIMBA members. This is a chance to share the highs and lows, ask questions, seek out support, and keep in touch with other parents that you meet at NIMBA events. Even on the days you can’t leave the house you can still feel connected to the NIMBA community.

Loan Library

Our Loan Library includes Twincredibles, Feeding Pillows, Hiking Packs, Travel Ride-Ons, Modern Cloth Nappy, Swim Nappies and more...

Buy/Swap/Sell

Our Facebook Buy/Swap/sell group is a great place to get pre-loved equipment and clothing for multiples.

Noah’s Ark Newsletter

Noah’s Ark is our regular newsletter that lets parents share their experiences and tips on raising multiples. It also features details of NIMBA events you can attend each month. While the format and content of the Noah’s Ark newsletter has changed, this newsletter has been delivered to local families since 1987. Our founding member explains the name as “having twins is like having an ark"... two of everything.

Playgroups

Come along to connect and play with other families of multiples. All ages welcome. We have mats & toys for babies, and plenty of toys and activities for the bigs. For more information please visit our What's On page or email info@nimba.amba.org.au
