With thanks to Darebin City Council, Bundoora Park Farm will run the 'Down on the Farm' education program for NIMBA members (4+) and parents / carers during the April School Holidays.
Activities include:
Guided farm tour
A ride through the wildlife reserve
Learning about animals, such as emus and kangaroos
Hands-on garden learning including exploration, planting and digging
Meet at the Cafe / entry to Bundoora Park Farm at 10. If you get lost, please call Erika on 0405 228 261.
We will then be directed to the 'classroom' to commence our program at 10.15, which will run for 2 hours.
Have lunch afterwards around the Farm or in the Farm playground (bring your own lunch or grab something in the cafe).
This is a free ticketed event, due to maximum group size. This program requires a parent or carer to remain with their children for the length of the session. Your free ticket includes entry to the Farm.
Remember, as per our Covid Safe Plan, attendees must socially distance and where this is not possible, wear a mask. Attendees should not attend if they display any COVID symptoms or have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID case in the last 14 days.
Please note that photos may be taken at NIMBA events for the purpose of celebrating our community and recording our history. Photos may be published on social media or provided to our grant partners for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please make it known to myself.
