Getting Out the Door in the Morning

Tips from other parents of multiples
Mornings can be chaotic — whether you're heading to work, childcare, school, or just the local park. Here's how other families streamline their routines when getting two (or more!) little ones ready at once:
-
Dress for success (the night before):
Skip pyjamas and dress the kids in their childcare clothes before bed — no more outfit battles in the morning. -
Batch and freeze:
School sandwiches and healthy breakfast muffins are made in bulk and frozen. Defrost overnight for a stress-free morning meal on the go. -
Prep bags ahead of time:
Childcare bags are packed and ready the night before — a small task that makes a big difference. -
Label hacks:
Forget the iron-on or stick-on name labels — a permanent marker does the job quickly. (Just remember to keep it out of reach!) -
Change for work:
One mum recommends getting changed into work shirt AFTER you've dropped kids off, less chance of ruining your shirt with spills or snot. -
Ignore the mess:
Enough said.
